Article Comments[edit]

I found this article very well done KUDOS to whoever wrote it :D Although it would be nice to see more of the statistics of the extreme difference between what the Miq'Maw fisherman take in and what the non-native fisherman take from the stock, I think that it would be relevant to show the disparity between what we have to live with and what non-natives have to live with, as for my envitable comment of the signing by (canadian funded & controlled) band councils agreement to sell out their rights, it should be noted that the majority of people there do not agree nor accept the actions of the band councils.

Needs Cleanup[edit]

This article is inconsistent with its use of names for the Mi'kmaq people, using terms like "native", "aboriginal", and others. Sometimes these terms are capitalized, implying that they have some kind of formal meaning, which they do not. The positive comments already on this talk page are obviously coming from someone who has a biased view of the issue. I don't claim to be an expert on this subject, but I can just tell that this article needs to be cleaned up to consistently use terms and to offer a non-biased viewpoint. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.189.233.184 (talk) 18:05, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dog's breakfast[edit]

Both "sides" in the conflict described in the article have abused this space to further their agendas, and the article is illegible trash as a result. Hope everyone is happy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.69.152.91 (talk) 18:25, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
