comment[edit]

Just tried to contribute to this page adding "open" alternatives and link to [open management education] - this was deleted for unclear reasons - thinking that other than business school contributions and formal education links should be considered here! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jan.pawlowski (talkcontribs) 14:16, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Business education is a perfectly legit topic, and the current article is slightly better than none at all, but it could use a rewrite. Paul 06:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am probably a little biased being a Business Education major, but I see it to be one of the most important areas of education and shouldn't have to be "stood up for." I view financial management and basic business principles to be almost as important as math, reading, writing, and other areas of the curriculum because it integrates many of the aforementioned areas and provides skills needed for daily life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kilburn08 (talkcontribs) 17:51, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[edit]

Just posted the first stage of a rewrite for this article, with several more expected over the next few days. The initial approach here was to strip away the unnecessary stuff and set up a template for expanding the article. I could see adding sections on Areas of Study and Educational Approaches (or something similar) as well. Feel free to rewrite, edit, change as needed as this has a long way to go (especially as far as sources). Thanks! Transmissionelement (talk) 17:19, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious[edit]

As of today, the introduction claims "A majority of students at the university level engage in a business-related major." Any college catelog, with all the majors disproves that. Business is not required in high school or college, yet that's the work world. Thus, college grads like me no nothing of how capitalism could possibly function. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.80.187 (talk) 04:48, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Secondary-level Education[edit]

Adding link out to Business studies, although wondering whether that entire article should be folded into this one, as that is pretty poor. EmyP (talk) 10:09, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

I noticed there was no mention of new disciplines under a Business education such as Supply Chain. This is a new class and study that has been added to many universities within the last few years. Miacrutcher (talk) 02:49, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to replace Template:Educational research with the Template:Education[edit]

The Template:Educational research box should be removed from this article for the reasons discussed here: Template talk:Educational research#Proposal to replace this with the Template:Education. Sda030 (talk) 15:39, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
