There's an error on the Buyblue info page. I am co-founder of Buyblue with Raven Brooks, and I was Research Director.

Please update your article to credit me.

There should be an article on Advomatic[edit]

I would like to create a page for my company, Advomatic, which is mentioned in the article, however it looks as though it would be inappropriate for me to create one for my own company? I assume there is a possiblity this could be considered blatant self promotion, so per your COI guidelines I have posted the request here.

Here's what I would like to post:

Advomatic is an Internet strategy and technology firm based in New York, NY. The company was founded in early 2004 by two members of the Howard Dean Presidential Campaign: Adam Mordecai and Aaron Welch. They are involved in providing custom Internet applications and communications strategies to Democratic organizations, political candidates, and non-profit organizations. They build sites on the free and open source content management system, Drupal.

On June 14, 2007, BuyBlue.org, a website geared towards modifying the purchasing habits of progressives in the United States, was donated to Advomatic. Advomatic has since announced they will be revamping the site and relaunching it in Fall 2007.

On July 30, 2007 it was announced that partner Aaron Welch was taking a leave from Advomatic to become Internet Technology Director at the Chris Dodd campaign for President.

  • I agree that there should be an article on Advomatic, and am glad you are not writing it. No offence, but your verbiage sounds like promotional material. It is couched in terms that are almost wholy favorable. Perhaps you could put more factual material here that others could form into a more encyclopedic entry. --Treekids (talk) 05:55, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
