Literal meaning/Han Tu[edit]

This province was created in 1976 when Vietnamese did not use "Han Tu" for a very long time. So, why does Cuu Long need note for it's name? So if you please, I would like to remove the "Han Tu" from this article. Rungbachduong (talk) 00:00, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are right! Because this province's name was derived from the "river" (in fact, a river system) vi:Cửu Long Giang (九龍江) which was named before 1945. Rungbachduong (talk) 00:11, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
