Would references to papers help?[edit]

I have been reading a lot of important papers in the Distributed Systems and Databases areas of computer science. Papers by Mohan get cited by these influential papers. I noticed that the page has a box saying reliable sources are requested. Would it be helpful for me to note some of the influential papers that cite Mohan's papers? General Objections[edit]

Two general objections to this page: 1) The page shows strong indications of having been mostly written by or influenced by the subject. 2) The subject's notability rests on one achievement - leading the ARIES project related to transaction management. Other than this - which is a niche contribution in database systems - the rest of the reasons given for inclusion as a Wikipedia page are not strong. Not every ACM or IBM Fellow warrants a separate Wikipedia page, and therefore the question of notability remains. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.253.7.131 (talk) 10:59, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He's a member of the National Academy of Engineering, which suggests he is notable. Allan Nonymous (talk) 16:29, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
