"May not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines?"[edit]

I agree with this article needing additional citations as right now it only uses obits from two different sites as sources, but why would anyone question this man's notability? He was the production manager and/or executive producer of some the most acclaimed and/or popular films of the past 50 years, including Rear Window, Vertigo, The Misfits, Chinatown, Blade Runner, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Groundhog Day. He collaborated with the likes of Hitchcock (five times), John Huston (also five times), Robert Evans, Joe Mankiewicz, Robert Altman, Sam Spiegel, Nicholas Ray, Richard Attenborough, Roman Polanski, Amy Heckerling, Ridley Scott, Harold Ramis and John Woo. He worked in Hollywood for nearly 60 years, from the Golden Age to the turn of the century. Surely all this makes him notable enough to have a page on Wikipedia, yes? --ThylekShran (talk) 20:14, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • As no one has countered my above statement after an entire week, I have removed the notability issue tag from the article. --ThylekShran (talk) 20:38, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
