Edit button problems[edit]

It seems to be functioning correctly right now - perhaps it was a sever problem or some kind of bug? - BillCJ (talk) 23:43, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was a problem with the aerospec template kindly fixed by User:Rlandmann. MilborneOne (talk) 11:29, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maximum speed[edit]

The given maximum speed seems improbable. Sure it wasn't 609 miles per hour? -- Bill-on-the-Hill (talk) 19:51, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Performance would be high subsonic - 609mph at altitude sounds right... Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 00:52, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually RAAF Museum, AWM, Classic Jets, Digger History and others that I Googled all give 1126kmh or 700mph (608 knots) as the max speed. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 01:09, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Preserved Examples[edit]

I've added a fourth, A94-974 which is preserved at the Classic Jets Fighter Museum at Parafield Airport, North of Adelaide. It can be seen on their website here: http://www.classicjets.com/c_Sabre.html

I happen to know this example is there personally, along with a Mirage IIIO, a recently restored P-38 and other preserved aircraft. (Bobbo9000 (talk) 05:24, 16 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Incorrect number associated with photo.[edit]

The text with the photo refers to A94-989 however the photo is actually A94-901. 901 was the first production aircraft which flew about 1953. 989 wasn't built until about 1959.120.144.38.40 (talk) 10:43, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, no idea why the incorrect number was in the caption -- removed now. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 10:50, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
