Categorisation[edit]

So does this system belong to the category: "Category:Submarine communications cables in the Atlantic Ocean" ? JohnYeadon 00:57, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would say it probably does, yes. I didn't set up the categorisation by sea/ocean, so I couldn't say for sure.

And should it not also be in the Categories:Submarine communications cables in the North Sea  ??? Stuffed cat (talk) 21:07, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Landing points in Greenland[edit]

I think that the picture and the information in this article are not up to date. According to this map published by the Guardian, CANTAT-3 has landing points in Greenland. --Jóhann Heiðar Árnason (talk) 07:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Greenland cable on the map is Greenland Connect which is not in service yet. Cantat-3 is not on this map. --194.105.255.161 (talk) 14:13, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speed[edit]

Why is the speed so slow? 2.5 Gbit/s ist not unsefull. A modern FTTH-connection have a speed of 1 Gbit/s. --Skraemer (talk) 14:38, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
