CBS Dream Team to rebrand to CBS WKND[edit]

Source: CBS rebrands E/I programming block - NewscastStudio

So starting on October 7, 2023, CBS Dream Team will rebrand (not necessarily close down per say) to CBS WKND. I can't edit the page since I've only made 6 contributions to Wikipedia, but if anyone could add this info, it would be appreciated. Sorry if this news disappoints you for those looking forward to the return of Nick on CBS. BrownieTheAlien (talk) 19:04, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved to CBS Weekend. Per consensus. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 04:34, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CBS Dream TeamCBS WKND – New title for this TV program block came into effect on October 7. Subsequent edits to the existing redirect have blocked my ability to move to the new title. — stickguy (:^›)— || talk || 14:47, 9 October 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). — stickguy (:^›)— || talk || 22:59, 10 October 2023 (UTC)— Relisting. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:13, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MrSchimpf: FYI — stickguy (:^›)— || talk || 23:07, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to CBS Weekend (programming block) for a clear-language title; any web search fills in the vowels and assumes a search for CBS Weekend News is meant, so it's best to disambiguate this from both their weekend newscast, and the devoweled spelling is easily noted in the lede (CBS WKND can remain as a redirect and it can be piped for any article needing a link towards here). Nate (chatter) 00:52, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    I agree with this, since with the vowels it would make since and be more understandable (probably even CBS Weekend (children’s programming block) would be more sense) Hoopstercat (talk) 12:55, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to CBS Weekend because I assess the suggested proposed titles CBS Weekend (programming block) or CBS Weekend (block) (my kind of DABbed title) as unnecessarily helpful for DAB reasons, as the proposed suggested title for this RM could redirect to it for stylization purposes and piped per MrSchimpf's. Then the target for CBS Weekend News could be inserted into a hatnote here at the top. Intrisit (talk) 14:50, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I agree a hatnote takes care of the title confusion. Nate (chatter) 22:59, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    I agree with that Hoopstercat (talk) 23:46, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Move to CBS WKND[edit]

Should I move this article? Teamsonic2011 (talk) 22:55, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To editor Teamsonic2011: please read the banner at the top of the article: "Please do not move this article until the discussion is closed." The "discussion" above is still open. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 17:40, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong/Incorrect Title.[edit]

The title of this page is CBS Weekend, but its official branding is CBS WKND, so it should be called by its official branding rather than this unofficial non-abbreviated title. 2603:6081:893D:13AC:9D01:87AC:1AC6:8B87 (talk) 18:58, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
