Jargon and wording[edit]

The article has legal writing and not clear writing style:
Under "Subsistence of copyright:

You don't answer issues you answer questions - fixed
"court looks at", then McLachlin is listed, who is it, the court or a person? The present tense? Is this not complete? - mclachlin is writing for the court, as reported early
Then why O'Connor, who is that? - former USSC judge
finally title ?subsistence, meaning "reality" in my dictionary - it's a technical term, perhaps it needs a page?
