Contested deletion[edit]
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it is a global financial trade association, representing the central counter party clearinghouses of the major equity and derivatives exchanges around the world. The policies it promotes influence how trillions of dollars and other currencies are impacted at the clearinghouses. --John J. Lothian (talk) 16:07, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- John, I removed the speedy tag and I believe your assertion above. Just the same, this article is subject to deletion as presently written. Please see WP:NORG and WP:RS. I’ve found that deletion discussions about companies and financial entities are subject to a deletion bias. References that would be “golden” in other deletion discussion may be disparaged as WP:ROUTINE. For this reason, I encourage you to document the heck out of this article.
