Lead[edit]

  • "Originally CMLL promoted the "Super Lightweight" division" - Originally, CMLL
  • "In 2011 CMLL decided to change the weight class, changing the name to the "CMLL World Lightweight Championship." - adjust

Background[edit]

  • "The official definition of the "Super Lightweight" in Mexico is a person who weights between" - weighs
  • "CMLL has at times ignored official the weight limit, giving the championship to heavier wrestlers, for example, Dragon Lee who was billed as weighing 76 kg (168 lb) when he won the championship." - the second part of this sentence should be written as For example, Dragon Lee was billed as weighing 76 kilograms (168 lb) when he won the championship.
  • "but the outcome of the matches are pre-determined by the promoters of the matches." - shorten the bold text so it reads as follows by their promoters.

History[edit]

  • "In 1999 CMLL began", "In 2004 Havana Brother", "On January 23, 2016 Dragon Lee", "In 2011 Máscara Dorada" and "The following day Dragon Lee's first reign" all require a comma after the year
  • "CMLL held a one-night tournament to determine who would be the inagual CMLL Japan Super Lightweight Champion," - typo; should beinaugural
  • "The last title match between the two took place in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico," - you don't need to have Mexico wikilinked in this piece of text
  • "CMLL made no attempts to 'get the championship back from Romero at that time." = retireve the championship
  • "the title change was only reported on after the fact." - after the match.
  • "on a New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo show in California." - missing the dash between the words "pro" and "wrestling"
  • "His fourth reign lasted from June 2011 to April 5, 2015 where he" - when he
  • "Kamaitachi lost the championship back to Dragon Lee on March 4, 2016 during CMLL's weekly Super Viernes show." - during CMLL's weekly Super Viernesshow on March 4, 2016.

Reign[edit]

  • "lasting somewhere between 1 day and 32 days." - between one to 32 days.

Title history[edit]

  • The last four mentions of Mexico City Mexico in the table should be displayed as {{xt|Mexico City, Mexico

This review will be put on hold for the time being until the nominator has responded to the queries raised above. MWright96 (talk) 14:38, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you for your review, I Will address this in the next Day or two.  MPJ-DK  03:44, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • MWright96 I have addressed all your comments except one. The issue with "Between 1 to 32 days" I kept "1" instead of spelling it out, I was taught to keep the format consistent in a sentence and since it's "32" not "Thirtytwo" I figured this way actually okay??  MPJ-DK  22:00, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
