Found by National Underwater and Marine Agency?[edit]

The Clive Cussler article states that The Manassas was found by NUMA. Perhaps if someone can find a reliable reference this article can be expanded to include this information. OlEnglish (talk) 00:36, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect image[edit]

The image of Manassas that is used in the article is incorrect. Manassas had two stacks, not one. Hearn (Capture of New Orleans, 1862, p. 68.) emphasizes this point. I would put in a different image, but the only correct one I have seen is subject to copyright restrictions. Perhaps someone else can find (or create) a better picture. Tone[edit]

It is interesting to read the description of this ship vs. the description of the USS Mississippi and George Dewey's wiki entry.
