Your request has nothing to do with the CTR ring discussion here. IMO, and I am not a member of this denomination; a "parody" could be considered offensive to devout Mormons as they take the meaning of this ring very seriously. T.E. Goodwin 11:14, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

It might be more appropriate to discuss this on the Choose the right talk page, as a number of snowclones of the choose the X motto are fairly common in LDS culture. Neither the CTR ring, nor the CTR shield graphic that it is based on are considered "sacred" in the same way as say a cross might be in some religions traditions. CTR is more in line with WWJD or the Christian ichthys symbol; it is also not uncommon for LDS to light-heartedly mock other LDS that take the CTR symbol as more than a tangible reminder of the meaning behind the symbol (see Sons of Provo for an example). "Choose the left" is specifically a commentary about how a large percentage of LDS Church members in the US are right-leaning in their politics; a bookending snowclone to this is "choose the far right," which was more commonly heard when Ezra Taft Benson lead the church, as his politics were considered far-right by some. -- 159.182.1.4 00:19, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Languages

"Arabic" can be considered an unusual choice to having this translated into, given the extremely small numbers of native Arabic speaking members of the LDS Church. -- 159.182.1.4 16:34, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
