There are a few pages related to Cable Propelled Transit(CPT) .However, these pages are devoted to one of the types of Cable Propelled Transit. A few of these examples are:

Cable Car (Railway) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cable_car_(railway) This page talks about the system that supports the cabin from below.

Aerial tramway is also one of the type of CPT. This page talks about the system supported by the cable above the cabin.

There are a few others which concentrates in one of the type of CPT but none had the full information.

Also, The Article (Cable Propelled Transit) has listed all these various types within CPT. All the pages mentioned can be linked into it. In addition, this article has much more technological information on working of the system.

Also, Citations and References are yet to be made. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AkshayaPdl (talkcontribs) 15:55, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have redirected this page to cable car which is the top level article for this kind of transport on Wikipedia. Expanded information should be added to that page instead. Text from the article which was here can be retrieved from the page history if necessary. SpinningSpark 17:58, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... The information in this article does not duplicate the information in the Cable car article. The cable car article is a description only, whereas this article spells out the circumstances in which this type of transportation would be used. Also, Cable propelled transit system refers to the entire system, not just the car, and is an accepted term used in other articles (such as Metrocable (Medellín)). At most, instead of being deleted, information and references from this article should be merged with others, and a redirect page added with this term.

Having said this, I should report that your notice about the speedy deletion had been removed from the page, leading me to decline it because I didn't know about the speedy deletion. —Anne Delong (talk) 12:26, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
