Paint scheme[edit]

This is my first post, so apologies for any errors. In 2013, the operating company applied external vinyl to the carriages so they now appear blue. An updated photograph would be appreciated, and I will supply one as available. Curamach (talk) 19:09, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A more recent photograph would of course be welcomed—like all Wikipedia content, it must be an originally image taken, and so able to be free-licensed image (per WP:FREEIMAGE). Any colour scheme shown is less important that what a photograph illustrates overall; the present photograph shows carriage (both front and side), plus passengers, trackwork, gradient, points, funicular cables, all within the background context of the park. Ideally any updated image should still be able to quickly illustrate all these features aswell. —Sladen (talk) 08:28, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

winter capacity?[edit]

I tried to track down a citation for the winter capacity of the funicular and was coming up short, though I could do original research to estimate. If anyone can come up with better numbers, please feel free. I left a citeable summer capacity number. Jessamyn (talk) 16:43, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

highest railway in the United Kingdom[edit]

The article contains a claim that this is "the highest railway in the United Kingdom", but does not provide a reference, and I can't find this claim in any of the listed sources. I haven't been able to find the height of the top station in any of the listed sources either. I glanced at an OS map, which shows the top station just above the 1080m contour, so I'm sure the claim is true, but I think it ought to be properly sourced or removed, or at least a sourced statement of the height of the top station should be included to enable the claim to be verified by readers. mooncow 04:13, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
