Article structure[edit]

This article appears to have multiple issues at present - not least the fact that much of it consists simply of lists. The section headings are also a little random and would benefit from someone (- maybe me if I have the time) giving some thought as to how a more finished article on the subject ought to look. I've removed a line on climbing from 'The Area' (which title suggests material on the geography of the place) and will insert it in modified form in the article on 'The Cairngorms' - under 'leisure' - a better home for it I'd suggest.Geopersona (talk) 20:49, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Location map[edit]

Cairngorms

I've uploaded a location map of Cairngorms National Park to Commons (shown to right). I have not created an associated {{location map}} template, but this can easily be done if desired.

If this is created, it will enable creation a map of the National Park similar to the one under construction at Talk:Dartmoor#Location map, and could be used in related articles (see this example). Hope people find it useful.--Nilfanion (talk) 22:15, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That map, which is consistent with maps such as [1] from the Scottish Government, is not consistent with [2] from the park authority. In particular the question is whether parts of Perth and Kinross (such as areas down to Blair Atholl) are in the national park. --Rumping (talk) 09:22, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

National Park map.[edit]

To whom it may concern, the map of the National Park is outdated and doesn't include the newer boundaries inside Perth and Kinross. There's nothing with the newer boundaries on Commons either. Does anybody have the knowledge to create a new map to include this? Huddsblue (talk) 11:22, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Odd main photo[edit]

The main photo in the infobox is an odd choice: the national park was created becuase of the Cairngorm mountains, not some rocky waterfall. Are there no suitable photos of the Cairngorms themselves? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.71.244 (talk) 10:11, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
