Big round ring pictures[edit]

Our current pictures depicting the structure of caldarchaeol consists of big round rings. This image, although probably very low energy in less-crowded environments, cannot be representative of how it looks like when it gets those phosphate head groups and get stuffed with many of its siblings in a cell membrane surrounded by water. Indeed, figure 5 at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1366815/ looks pretty not-bent. Artoria2e5 🌉 08:05, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
