Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the club is notable enough at a credible level to warrant its own Wikipedia article. As they now compete in the South of Scotland Football League (level six on the Scottish football system) then this should clearly give them the opportunity to have a page dedicated to the club and information relating to them.

Similar to Broomhill Sports Club Glasgow F.C., this is a new club which is difficult to provide further information for at this point. More details will be added as the clubs progress in their respective divisions.

Meanwhile, the article could very quickly be made much much clearer by simply showing, including near the end of History, the date at which the current name was adopted. CuttySarc (talk) 22:31, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move[edit]

I am proposing moving this page to simply "Edusport Academy", as they are not a football club in the normal sense, but a private academy who happen to enter a team in a senior league as a sideline to their activities. I can see no evidence from their website or elsewhere that they actually use the "F.C." suffix. Jellyman (talk) 19:12, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moved again[edit]

I have now moved the page to Caledonian Braves F.C. following the rebranding of the senior team. The article still covers the academy, but a brief discussion at WP:FOOTY supported the idea that the senior team was the primary reason for notability and the name of the article should reflect this.
