1892 or 1895?[edit]

Bill Yenne gives the start date as November 27, 1892. This finds support in contemporary newspaper articles: [1]. An otherwise reliable article in Railway World from early 1906 gives the start date as "November 1895" and then further discusses the train having existed for "ten years." This too finds support in contemporary newspaper articles: [2]. The Official Guides aren't much help either, showing a train named the "California Limited" in both January 1895 and March 1896.
