- The route could use some detail about the physical surroundings. Are the mountains along the route wooded or bare? Are the rural valleys agricultural, grassland, or desert? Are the developed areas residential or commercial?
- There are some points of interest that are worth mentioning in the route description such as the Harris Ranch Airport at the I-5 interchange, the Hanford Municipal Airport, Visalia Municipal Airport at the SR 99 interchange, College of the Sequoias at the SR 93 interchange, and Lake Kaweah near the eastern terminus.
