"astringent" is unsourced[edit]
I have tasted Callicarpa berries and do not find them astringent. The claim is unsourced, and I have to wonder if the claim was made by someone tasting unripe berries. I don't have the energy to figure out how to properly mark it unsourced and disputed. Paleolith (talk) 03:51, 7 October 2017 (UTC)

The center photo shows the Asian species Callicarpa dichotoma, not Callicarpa americana.
