Edibility of the berries[edit]

According to the document, "The berries are not edible for humans, but provide food for birds and deer. The leaves can be used to make herbal tea.". I ate much of the berries, at least beautyberries though I don't know the exact kind, in my childhood. Because I grew up at a tiny hamlet of 10 houses, I don't remember whether others also ate it. I would wander around forests alone and would eat fruits or seed at random. But, anyway, I ate the berries in my childhood, and tried the berries recently. I don't think I had any harm by consuming them.
