Blog sources[edit]

The first Blog link points directly to the copy (png) of a magazine article. It has no reference. It specifies elements found elsewhere. But it also presents new things. The sources on Cami Stone being rare, it is good to take, while waiting for other better identified sources to corroborate this information.

The second Blog link presents its source. I modified the reference which now points directly to the source. Ssirdeck (talk) 19:35, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of sources[edit]

There is a discrepancy between the presence of Cami Stone's works in major auction houses such as Sothebys, Christies, Drouot, etc. and the information available about her. As often, an artist recognized in her time has disappeared behind a man, in this case her husband. We have an artist that I discovered in the "Photographic Masterpieces of MoMA" and who does not have a Wikipedia page. And when you do a search, it's rather desert. There is real investigative work to be done. This page should only be seen as a beginning.

For example, there are already inconsistencies in her date of birth and death. Where the National Library of France (BnF) speaks of 1898-1976, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) speaks rather of 1892-1975. These dates being mostly used, I used them. But if a Belgian friend could apply for a birth certificate and a Netherland friend for a death certificate, that would be better.

In short, this is just the beginning. Ssirdeck (talk) 20:12, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
