As a way to relieve the GAN backlog, I will be reviewing this article. GeraldWL 17:12, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

  • All references are reliable and there are no original research. GeraldWL 08:21, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great to hear! --Kbabej (talk) 20:49, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • There are various sentences that use multiple citations. My common take is that if one citation is enough to support a sentence or multiple sentences, just use one. If appropriate, mind relocating or removing redundants? GeraldWL 08:21, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. The redundant citations have been removed. --Kbabej (talk) 20:48, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Career[edit]

  • "In June 1987, Johnetta Cole of Howard University in Washington, D.C., presented Cosby with a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary doctoral degree." Should this be placed at the education section, since it's not really a career? GeraldWL 16:52, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. That makes sense! The information has been moved to the education section. --Kbabej (talk) 19:43, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In 2014, she wrote the foreword for The Man from Essence: Creating a Magazine for Black Women, a book by Edward Lewis of Essence." Since there is a statement before saying she wrote a foreword for another book, I suggest rewording this sentence to "In 2014, she wrote a foreword for another book, titled"-- blablabla you get it. GeraldWL 16:52, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Yes, that was repetitive. It's been reworded. --Kbabej (talk) 19:47, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The book was originally intended to be the subject of her thesis for her doctoral degree." ♩ Citation needed... na-na-na-na-na.... GeraldWL 16:52, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. A source has been added. --Kbabej (talk) 20:48, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Same for "At the Black Reel Awards of 2000, Cosby was nominated for a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Television Movie or Limited Series for the film along with Jeffrey Grant." GeraldWL 16:52, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. I actually cannot find one for the Black Reel Awards, so I removed the line. --Kbabej (talk) 20:54, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
