Inappropriate Deletion?[edit]

Zawl added Can Atilla to Category:Turkish electronic musicians, which was fine. Then he deleted Atilla from Category:Turkish musicians, which seems an odd thing to have done, because

  • Atilla is Turkish (according to the article -- and according to Zawl), and
  • Atilla is a musician (else he couldn't be an electronic one).

Moreover, he is multi-genre (I have one his symphonies, which makes him more of a "musician" than (only) an electronic one ... so ... why was "Category:Turkish musicians" deleted?

I propose to restore the deletion, but I'll wait a while for a reply before I do.

Subcategories cover the main category .... EH?[edit]

Zawl, membership of a sub-category does imply membership of the main category, but it does not indicate membership od other sub-categories, and Atilla is multi-genre. Listing electronic and only electronic implies that he does not do orchestral etc.

I will re-revert. If you re-re-revert, I'll seek arbitration.

By the way, you must watch your pet pages very closely -- you reverted me within seven minutes. OK, five days wasn't very long to answer my proposed revert on the Talk page, but it was a lot than seven minutes. Wyresider (talk) 20:46, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Take it easy, Wyresider. It's not a big deal, it's not an issue if any one of the categories are removed/replaced/appended. I'll just leave it as it is. FYI, I'm not an admin. I'm just a regular user like you. I missed the talk page yesterday which was why I didn't see the above post. — Zawl 09:34, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Zawl, thank you for your reply. I apologise for the first version of this, which was late at night and out of order. I hoped that no-one would go into the history to read it, but obviously you have. And the revised version isn't exactly how a post should be either. I will try to follow you advice and "Take it easy." Wyresider (talk) 10:15, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
