Asterisk[edit]

Can someone inform me what it means for those constituencies that have an asterisk after them? RyanPLB (talk) 11:02, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the history, it seems it indicates new constituencies - but it's not used consistently, and the table columns already show that. I've removed them. John Womble (talk) 16:21, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

East Wiltshire Seat[edit]

Pete Force-Jones has been announced as standing for the True & Fair Party in the East Wiltshire Seat. 86.184.241.54 (talk) 17:25, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Co-operative party[edit]

Is it worth making the distinction between a Labour Party Candidate and a Labour and Co-operative Party Candidate? Alexanderkowal (talk) 16:13, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't think so - we don't know for sure which will be listed as Labour/Co-op on the ballot paper. My understanding is there is a limit of 50 Labour/Co-op candidates, even if there are more than 50 candidates that are members of the Co-operative Party. November Aristotle (talk) 20:11, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Names in bold[edit]

These seem to be current MPs who have been confirmed as standing for re-election, but this isn't explicitly stated anywhere. Mark and inwardly digest (talk) 08:14, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Manchester Central[edit]

Why is Manchester Central listed twice? It will change its boundaries, incorporating Failsworth, but it will still be called Manchester Central. doktorb wordsdeeds 23:14, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Richmond and northallerton[edit]

Kevin Foster is the green party Candidate 2.24.218.57 (talk) 22:24, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Huge apologies[edit]

I'm doing some practice edits on my own Sandbox page and I accidentally made the edits here instead of my Sandbox page and although I've tried to fix them, I cannot remember what else may have been there. It was only the first three South West constituencies (Bath, Bournemouth East and Bournemouth West). Hugely sorry! I'll ensure to look before I go again! RyanPLB (talk) 15:05, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay - I managed to retrace my steps and find what I needed - yay! Therefore, I have fixed it now! I'm so happy with myself! :) RyanPLB (talk) 15:16, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ashfield[edit]

Is it reasonable to assume that Lee Anderson will now be the Reform UK candidate for Ashfield, rather than the currently listed Reform candidate? Mark and inwardly digest (talk) 17:57, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It would break Wikipedia:CRYSTAL to do so. doktorb wordsdeeds 19:11, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Parties[edit]

Why does the table in the section headed Parties, which says there were 181 ReformUK candidates, 182 Green Party etc. not give a figure for the top three parties, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat? It clearly ought not to be 0. It's not a running total, needing updating every time someone else is selected; it clearly states that it is the number selected by 1 Mar 2024, so why are these three blank? If the main table, listing the candidates were countable for the parties, not just the constituencies, that would make counting easier, I think. Nick Barnett (talk) 12:25, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate disendorsements section[edit]

I'm wondering whether it's possible for this list to ever be comprehensive - there are at least two other Reform candidates who have been dropped and some from other parties as well. Mark and inwardly digest (talk) 12:09, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Page is way too big[edit]

This needs to be split if it's going to have all of those tables in there. My computer can't handle it. Dylpickle2k (talk) 22:23, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The navbox at the bottom seems to be broken now - it looks like the number of references is blowing the computation limits. Perhaps a split by region? Blenge Hackett (talk) 05:54, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
