Why does 'Boat Hook' redirect here? They are not the same thing. They are, in fact, quite different things.
Merge of Peavey (tool)[edit]
They are significant and notable versions of the same tool; both would pass WP:N. However they are most readably described for an encyclopedia as one overall article. Andy Dingley (talk) 19:07, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

- A maul and an axe are related, a maul and a sledge hammer are related, most of these have separate pages. Most of the screw drives have separate pages. Seems like people just like messing about. ajax (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:03, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Support merge: that the two terms are sometimes use synonymously (unlike, for example, a maul and axe) suggest that a merge would be appropriate. Both articles are also very short, so it is better to have one good page than two sub-standard ones. Perhaps keep Peavy as a section in Cant Hook, as a notable variant.
