Removing template[edit]

I’ ve removed the template because there is no such “Ethnic group” called Cape Verdean Sao Tomese. Either you are Cape Verdean (with or without Sao Tomese citizenship), either you are Sao Tomese (descending from Cape Verdeans). Ten Islands 13:43, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Fernando Pereira.png[edit]

The image Image:Fernando Pereira.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Dubious[edit]

This article claims things that are false for sure. There cannot be 199.000 people in Sao Tomé from Cape Verdean descent when there are only 180.000 people in the whole country. - FakirNL (talk) 15:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Turns out that someone fudged the numbers, as you can see here. Hardly seems worth it keeping this article, if we are talking about 3 thousand people. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 01:48, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for resetting it. The article is not the most important on the Wikipedia, but as long as the information is correct, which is seems to be now, I wouldn't delete it. - FakirNL (talk) 08:36, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
