The old "Cap and trade" Section, which I plan to largely eliminate[edit]

Need elaboration on certain wordings[edit]

"If the fossil price surge persists, the necessity for an additional carbon price to gain competitiveness for renewable energies comes into question." Can anybody (using plain language) help explain? Thanks. ThomasYehYeh (talk) 00:00, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the sentence because coal is now cheap (at least here in Turkey as we get a discount from that nice Mr Putin) Chidgk1 (talk) 12:45, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
