Peodora[edit]

A wonderful piano piece called "Peodora" is credited to Carel Struycken during the closing credits of The Witches of Eastwick (1987).

Carel is a good composer, it is however very difficult to source that material. Carel composed that piece especially for the movie, I actually believe (but I have not seen the film for a long time) that his character (Fidel) plays it at some point. It is not included on the soundtrack of the film
He plays it during the epilogue, on the children's piano in the nursery. Lovely piece! 81.158.63.216 (talk) 22:16, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have met Carel several times. He is a very nice man although he is very tall (and I am 6'5"). He is also very talented. It is a pity that his work does not always gets the recognition it deserves.
His brother Peter is also a very good artist, his work was exhibited in the Groninger Museum in 2007[1]
Although the interviews are in Dutch, a good example of Peter's works can be seen here. --JHvW (talk) 12:10, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

This article needs a picture of Carel. I can't find one right now that meets the guidelines; so I've put up a request. --oKtosiTe talk 17:59, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
