Oppose - There is a third Carey McWilliams on the disambiguation page. This one is certainly the most notable Carey McWilliams of the three but this change is not necessary, especially if "I believe" is the only rationale.

I don't know how to do Google results comparisons but just w/in Wikipedia there are 80+ incoming links to Carey McWilliams (journalist) and roughly four to Carey McWilliams (marksman), three of which are the personal-name disambiguation page, a surname list page, and List of people from Fargo, North Dakota.

The third person on the personal name disambiguation page published as Wilson Carey McWilliams (rather than just Carey McWilliams; no doubt choosing to do his own "disambiguation" early in his career since Carey McWilliams (journalist) was active and notable well before he was born). jengod (talk) 18:04, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
