A tag has been placed on Carlisle Managed Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Carlisle Managed Solutions and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wasabigit (talk) 15:33, 14 April 2009 (UTC) Hello there,[reply]

I'm trying to put in an article about Carlisle Managed Solutions. I don't believe what has been done so far in anway is an advert. We haven't put out our products or any sales material on there. All it currently mentions is the name, how it started, who is the MD, some vital statistics, what they do and who the current clients are.

As an employee I know there is a COI, I'm just figuring out how to put it up.

There are currently several problems with this entry. It does not read like an encyclopedic entry but seems to be more promotional in nature. It has no reliable sources. It does not indicate why the company is notable. Finally, there is the conflict of interest issue. Generally, if the company is notable in some way, someone other than an employee will create an entry. I hope this answered your questions. Wperdue (talk) 15:35, 14 April 2009 (UTC)wperdue[reply]
I've removed some of language that might be viewed as sales. I doubt many companies would be on here if it weren't for employees (or ex!). I will be adding some more references over the course of the next day. Wasabigit Wasabigit (talk) 16:06, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Wasabigit[reply]
I removed the speedy deletion tag as it is clear you are trying to improve the entry. I added a couple of other tags to it, but the primary sources tag can be deleted if reliable third-party sources can be found. Thank you. Wperdue (talk) 16:10, 14 April 2009 (UTC)wperdue[reply]
I've added some 3rd party references (from the industry magazine) so we do exist :). Just figuring out how to use references and i'll use that. Wasabigit (talk) 13:35, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Wasabigit[reply]
I've left a message on Wpderdue re: removing the COI tag, as I believe the article is now very neutral and purely informative. He hasn't responded in over a month. I've therefore elected to remove in the tag. If anybody has an issue please state here. Regards, Wasabigit —Preceding undated comment added 14:58, 26 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]
