Who Is In Number 18?[edit]

It is said that the East part of the Terrace is numbered 10 - 18. There is no mention of 18 in the list of current occupants. Is 18 combined with 17? Or was it left off by mistake? Or is it hidden because of a cunning plan by Sir Pellinore Gwaine-Cust? I think we should be told. 95.149.54.104 (talk) 16:02, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Numbering[edit]

If the numbers only go to 18, how is there a business in number 20?

And who is in number 19? 213.205.240.134 (talk) 10:01, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am. But, shh. 2A00:23C5:E097:5D00:4978:4D17:492B:70DC (talk) 21:30, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Belatedly - It is all a bit confusing, and I can’t find an explicit reference to Number 19. This, very good, blog explains the layout of 20-24 well, but as a blog it’s not useable.[1] Perhaps the Survey of London will help. KJP1 (talk) 12:50, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In Fiction[edit]

There is such a section in the article on The Albany, and several other parts of London. Why not have an In Fiction section for Carlton House Terrace as well? 95.149.54.104 (talk) 11:43, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, I have seen some reference to it in thrillers, and will get some info once I have the references. 96.90.200.185 (talk) 22:12, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers 19-24[edit]

Despite Survey of London, No. 18 is clearly part of the Nash scheme. I think it should say 19 to 24 were built later. That would put 19 at the very eastern end of the street, and 20-24 on the northern side, which fits with this, [2].Need to find suitable R/S to clarify all this.
