Justin Dustbin[edit]

Just discovered, after picking up on Amazon a copy of a long-lost book from my youth, the "My Cartoon Annual 1984". It contains a few strips, including "Zippy and Zappy" and "Justin Dustbin", who is Carpanta. Some of the pages have an Escobar signature on them. So it looks like Carpanta made it to at least one English translation. Is this noteworthy? The book's hard to find on the web, look for "Opal Quill", the publishers. 188.29.165.202 (talk) 15:07, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The comic itself doesn't show up on Google. If you can find it in your local library and you source it properly, then it's perfectly noteworthy to be included into the article as an existing translation of the work, in fact, it'd be pretty valuable, because not even in Spain we have evidence of such thing (except for Escobar, of course). --Apolo234 (talk) 21:10, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

On how to focus this article[edit]

I was making some edits to this article and I thought a focus should be given to the article, after all, Carpanta is both a comic book character and a comic book series. So I've thought of two options (without excluding additional ones to be added if you want to). These are:

  • Focusing the article on the character himself. ("Carpanta Hambrón, or as better known, Carpanta, is the name of a Spanish character"...)
  • Focusing the article on the comics and strips narrating the character's adventures. ("Carpanta is a comic book series starring Carpanta Hambrón, or as better known, Carpanta, the main character"...)

This would have great relevance on which the sections are and the information to be added, so it's really important, and I don't think it's something to leave to a single person. So, what do you think?
