This looks great. Will review. The article is exceptionally well-written, and do well even at FAC. I have only a few comments. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 14:59, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Could we add the precise date when the school was founded to the Lead?
  • Done.
  • Who was Robert Carre? His profession?
  • He didn't have a profession per se, but was a member of the gentry. I've linked to the Carr baronets page; he was linked to them, and I hope to do a lot of work on that page at some point.
  • Who was Robert Cammock?
  • Another local gentleman.
  • £4 per annum Italics not needed
  • Removed.
  • Boys usually take nine or ten subjects... (Key Stages 3 and 4) What about the girls?
  • Girls don't enter the school until Sixth Form, which is Key Stage 5.
  • Why say " c. 1963 " and not simply 1963? (Extra-curricular activities)
  • Because it is not clear that change happened in 1963; I don't have the book to hand, but the implication was that it closed down in the school year 1962-63 I think.
  • I think "Old Carresians" could be renamed as "Alumni". Just an idea.
  • I've changed it to "notable former pupils".

Nooooo! The school's ex-pupils are known as "old Carrensians" both among themselves and by the school. The school annual magazine was, in my day, called "The Carrensian". Cliff (talk) 11:19, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Noswall59: Would you please respond to this comment? Sainsf <^>Feel at home 11:31, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@CWB001:, @Sainsf: Hi, I have added a note in the infobox that past pupils are called "Old Carrensians". There isn't any clear precedent to follow here, but I see that The Judd School, an FA, uses Sainsf's suggestion, which may be easier for unfamiliar readers to understand. I am not wholly opposed to changing it, but I don't believe it's a major issue and the current formulation is entirely accurate. Cheers, --Noswall59 (talk) 10:42, 9 April 2016 (UTC).[reply]
  • Link indenture (History); French, German, Latin, Greek (Curriculum); GCSE (Key Stages 3 and 4)
  • Done.
  • Duplinks: Kesteven and Sleaford High School (School structure); Sleaford Joint Sixth Form (Sixth Form); Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme (Extra-curricular activities)
  • Removed, although I could not find a link to the Duke of Edinburgh's scheme in the Extra-curricular section.
  • References: Could ref. 47 be properly formatted?
  • Done.
@Sainsf: thank you very much for taking the time to review this—I will address these comments within the next few days. Cheers, —Noswall59 (talk) 00:40, 2 March 2016 (UTC).[reply]
@Sainsf: thank you again for comments. I believe I have addressed all of them and made the appropriate changes (please see this edit). Cheers, —Noswall59 (talk) 13:05, 5 March 2016 (UTC).[reply]

I must thank you for all your thanks and cooperation! I am satisfied with your replies. The article satisfies all the GA criteria and is a quite well-written, well-sourced, pleasant read. I would be happy to promote this article. Cheers! Sainsf <^>Talk all words 15:43, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
