Unit of momentum nonsense[edit]

Someone, probably named or surnamed Carson, insists on introducing the statement that the Carson is the SI unit for momentum, kg m/s. I've already reverted this five times. Please be aware that this is joke. The SI unit for momentum has no special name. Since the units of force (Newton), energy (Joule), and power (Watt) are named after famous scientists, many high school students, including a younger me and, presumably, whoever this Carson person is, have fantasized about getting the unit of momentum named after them. -- Eb.hoop 20:22, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of people by first name probably are not encyclopedic, and in any case disrupt the page Carson which avoids needing to be sorted by surname by the fact that they are all surnamed Carter. Moved here:
