No consensus. See no general agreement below to drop "Reserve" in the article title. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworthed. put'r there  18:55, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Case Western Reserve SpartansCase Western Spartans – Requested move in order to align the main article with all of the associated categories for athletics at Case Western Reserve University. Note that sports media outlets drop "Reserve" from their naming convention when it comes to sports to shorten the name (which is standard practice for Wikipedia articles to follow suit), so this is a scenario where the article should be moved, not the categories. Disagree on the name change. It actually should go the other way -- the categories should match to "Case Western Reserve." There's been controversy in recent history Case_Western_Reserve_University#Naming_controversy with omitting "Reserve" due to the history of the university. The school is a combination of Western Reserve and Case Tech, with Western Reserve specifically referencing the Connecticut Western Reserve. If anything, "Reserve" has more meaning than "Western," and that's how the school went by for most of its history. Heck the fight song even calls the school "Case Reserve."
With all that being said, the name should remain "Case Western Reserve" due to its origins and history.
What media outlets are you referencing? Doing a quick google, I primarily see "Case Western Reserve" or the acronym of CWRU. Usaf_1832 17:52, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
