Modern or historical?[edit]

Interestingly enough, almost all modern Chinese writing I've found about this subject claims that cash coins are no longer being used in Traditional Chinese "medicine" (TCM), while a number of English-language sources (notably Historical Archaeology) claim that it is still being used in Traditional Chinese "medicine". While historically this seems to have been mainstream, from what I can tell on the Mandophone internet this isn't the case among those who believe in Traditional Chinese "medicine" today. Note that the Mandarin Chinese-language Wikipedia article on Gua sha claims that cash coins are still used, but the English-language Wikipedia's version of this article doesn't explicitly mention it. --Donald Trung (talk) 15:42, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
