This article is turning into a place for caste promotion. Sources like Gomes Pereira 1978 are some third grade locally published sources.

Bragnanca Pereira is a good source but it does not match with what article is saying. Daman and diu census report also does not report on anything that this article is portraying. There is no official hierarchical classification given out by anyone. It just talks about how well the communities are doing at that time. Government of Goa reservation system is the only official document. In a society like Goa most of the communities have done well to uplift themselves, so this reinstating caste hierarchy through traditional sense is useless especially when no original author in the sources have said so. People on this page are freely moving their caste in higher hierarchy. Sources which are 50+ years old for caste system in Goa are good as using 200+ year source to portray how Goan society is today.
