The "nest"[edit]

@Rei Momo: Thanks for writing the article! Anyhow what is "the nest", where was the original, and was that what was destroyed? WhisperToMe (talk) 10:11, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@WhisperToMe:: the nest of his family destroyed, when his father was murdered and his mothes dyed for sorrow. So, after many years, in Castelvecchio, he beuibs to remake his familiar nest! Grazie mille!!! Rei Momo (talk) 10:37, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That would be his family house and not a bird's nest, right? In English a "nest" usually means a bird's nest unless one is writing in a poetic/metaphorical way. WhisperToMe (talk) 11:06, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@WhisperToMe:: Well, is correct as you say. But "nest" is the word that Pascoli usually used to speak about his family-house, his family-group, his family-area. After lot of sorrow, he says of himself that Castelvecchio was the ideal place to remake his family-house with his sister.
Here, in Italy, we use, for Pascoli, "nest". Thank you, sincerely Rei Momo (talk) 12:14, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see! The best way to deal with it is to put it in quotes and explain: "the "nest", Pascoli's term for describing the house that housed his family for generations". WhisperToMe (talk) 21:27, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
