This article confuses two separate "Castle Lochs"[edit]

Initially, this article appears to describe Castle Loch in Lochmaben, Dumfries and Galloway, a loch in the Annan Basin. However, reference 1 describes a different 'Castle Loch' in the Bladenoch Basin. The map also shows the location of the Bladenoch Basin 'Castle Loch'. The location of Castle Loch, Lochmaben, can be seen by visiting the Lochmaben entry, here on Wikipedia, since Castle Loch, Lochmaben lies within this township. Reference 4, to Murray's Bathymetrical Survey also leads to the loch in the Bladenoch Basin. The correct link for Castle Loch, Lochmaben is here: https://maps.nls.uk/bathymetric/chart/2025

I have confirmed, by visiting Geograph.org , that the photo is also of the Bladenoch Basin loch.

I've never edited a Wikipedia entry, and this seems a bit extensive of an edit for a novice, but hopefully, someone more experienced can fix it, based on these links. Kris Hughes 1 (talk) 03:33, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have a look at this when I have a chance, since I created it in the first place. It looks like entirely my fault. Thanks for flagging this up. OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 09:04, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
