Pronunciation[edit]

I've commented out the horrible anglo-centric "pronuciations". If we can't have the IPA version, it is better to have nothing. --Red King 14:52, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In that case could someone get hold of the IPA? It is not very convenient to have to consult the article history and load an old version of the article from 2005 in order to find out how the words are pronounced. Or very roughly how (is the horrible approximation really worse than not knowing anything at all? If you couldn't find the IPA transcription, would you advise someone who wasn't familiar with Sinn Fein that you couldn't give them any guidance at all as to pronounciation, and risk them saying "sin" as the first syllable, or someone who didn't know the name of the Irish parliament, would you want them saying "dale"?). ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.13.232 (talk) 10:17, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
