Overall: Article meets eligibility criteria - newness and length. No issues with tone. Article is well sourced. Earwig shows a slightly high number ~25%, but, all of the hits are to proper nouns. e.g. college names, course names etc. So, I do not see any issues. Hook is cited and is interesting too. However, I would want to ask the nominator if they would want to rev this further to boost the interestingness. I see that Cavagnaro has a record for the maximum flat spins. @Paradise Chronicle: Eikes, did not mean to take away this one. I typically end up marking a 'start of review' comment to avoid overstepping. :) Yup, saw that part about the record being broken. There have been a few messages recently re: interestingness at WT:DYK hence I make it a point to ask once to ensure that nominators give this a thought. I proposed ALT0 more for its rhythm than for the specific choice of claims it uses, but if you prefer:
the ambiguity of wording with spinning a musical record is deliberate, as an attempt to make the hook a little confusing so that readers might click on it to unconfuse themselves. Don't know if that's a good strategy, though. It has the disadvantage that it doesn't really give readers any clue what the article is actually about. A hook preparer might prefer
