Lead image[edit]

DNA[edit]

Because in reality the police would have gone to court to get a sample of Tramell's DNA, since she was the last person seen with Johnny Boz before he was murdered. If she had refused to provide a sample then she would have been charged with obstruction of justice. The scriptwriter has admitted that not mentioning DNA in the movie was a major plothole. Different name as author?[edit]

During a love scene in Basic Instinct 2, he looks at her book, which is opened upside down. Front cover has the book name "One Lie, One Clue", author's first name "Catherine" and one letter visible from the last name, "W". Back cover has Catherine Tramell's (Sharon Stone) picture. Not amused[edit]

This article is frequently unencyclopaedic, redundant, badly written and simply wrong.

Especially, what's the point of summarizing both films again as they already have their own article.
