Requested move[edit]

Roman Catholic Church in Canada → Roman Catholicism in Canada – Most articles in Category:Roman Catholic Church by country have the form Roman Catholicism in Canada. A stub exists in that place. Yes, the Roman Catholicism in Canada article exists, in fact that's why I put in the move request. That article is a stub, it needs to be deleted before this article can be moved - I said this in the move request. It's obvious that the norm is "Roman Catholicism in X" for the name - I'm not going to count them but it looks like 90% that way. The other 10% should be moved too, but this article needs special attention because of the stub article in the way. Gimmetrow 11:23, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History of RC church in Canada[edit]

I think it's of note the role that Catholic church has/has had in Canada (i.e. funding of separate schools in Ontario to this day, Manitoba schools question, missionaries going to New France, influence in Quebec leading up to the "quiet revolution" etc) perhaps someone more knowledgeable on this matter could expound on it in this article?

Cleanup Needed. Article needs a lot of improvement[edit]

This article needs work. Sorry but, IMO it doesn't remotely match the standards of many other "Roman Catholicism in ____ " articles. Even countries with far fewer Catholics (example: Roman Catholicism in Norway) have a better article. This article needs better organization, better grammer, a more detailed history, images. Other sections such as regional breakdown, ethnic origin, etc would be useful too.

Claim for Henry VII, not Henry VIII[edit]

state funded denominational schools[edit]
