Present tense and expiration[edit]

I am a little confused by the present-tense wording and the in-progress nature of this article. If Bowie issued the bonds in 1997, and they only covered 10 years of royalties, wouldn't they be expired now? Couldn't the article give a post-mortem on what their returns were, how much the bonds in aggregate paid out, and so on? --Gwern (contribs) 12:22 2 August 2008 (GMT)
