Merge?[edit]

Would it be worth merging this article with Law enforcement in France? There is a brief mention of the DCPJ in the latter but this detail may be better paced there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HJ Mitchell (talkcontribs) 23:30, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested English term for mobile police[edit]

There is a French article for Brigades régionales de police mobile, and the translation here is good enough for a literal translation. But adding an {{ill}} template would be better, because it would generate a clickable red link. Checking reliable sources leads to the most common term for this in English, which in the context of policing, is "regional mobile brigades", and without context or on first usage, is sometimes "regional brigades of mobile Police" or "regional mobile brigades of the police judiciaire". However, "regional mobile brigades of mobile Police" is not very common usage. Mathglot (talk) 04:34, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
