IACIS[edit]

Meanwhile you do not have to be a member of IACIS anymore. The FAQ at https://www.iacis.com/certification/cfce_faqs reads:

"Do I have to be or become an IACIS member to enroll in the CFCE Program? No. In July of 2010, the membership of IACIS voted to open the CFCE Certification Program to the general public. Applicants are required to complete the registration process, and some applicants may be required to undergo a background check."

So far I understood that means you do not have to be member of a law enforcement organisation anymore but they check your backround to keep standards high. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.144.32.241 (talk)
