Year[edit]

I'm almost certain that in episode 26, in which they are made to go back in time, the monster shows that the year in which the show takes place is 1991.

Agreed. Jetman is set in 1991. Further evidence for this can be found on Rie's tombstone. 199X was only mentioned in episode 1; it was non-commital period for when the events could be occuring. These events could not have taken place later than 1995 (due to Jetman's inclusion in Super Sentai World). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.6.204.99 (talk) 23:33, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bringer Sword[edit]

I'm not sure what the names of those are. It sounds like it could be "Bringer" or "Winger," which fits with the motif. Gladrius 02:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edits from Problem IPs[edit]

What's with the Phillipines' TV ads?Suredeath 09:48, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editors from IPs in the range 210.213.*.* have been vandalising various Sentai articles lately. Most of the articles they have done this to have since been semi-protected...I think Jetman is the only one not to be sprotected yet. Their edits consist of adding patent nonsense and deleting/altering correct information (such as birthdays, names, monsters, and episode titles--they've particularly tried to fuck up the Liveman page that way, before it was sprotected), and their edits should be reverted in their entirety on sight. jgp TC 13:11, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In France?[edit]

I noticed that some of the characters' bios tell us what the characters were known as in France. Was the show officially subbed/dubbed into French or something? If so, what was it called?

28 out of the 51 existing episodes were officially dubbed in French and broadcasted in France (in 1993). The show was known as simply "Jetman".

I wonder if it was curtailed so they could show Power Rangers instead? It started that same year. 212.50.191.46 (talk) 10:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright Violation[edit]

Most of the information in the character section has been plagarised from www.supersentai.com. Because I'm unfamiliar with wiki, I'm not sure how to place the proper template. Could someone handle that please? 209.149.95.35 (talk) 15:34, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the grammar in that section is pretty terrible, too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.83.49.58 (talk) 20:53, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cross Changer/Coressponder placement[edit]

Which wrist does the Cross Changer go on? And the Coressponder? 66.244.64.101 (talk) 18:47, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cross changer goes on the right wrist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.6.204.99 (talk) 23:38, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ryu's Actor[edit]

Something isn't right. It says that Ryu's actor under "cast," was born in 1901 and died in 1995. There's no way that can be true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.73.137 (talk) 18:10, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chojin/Chōjin/Choujin[edit]

Official toys for the series use the spelling chōjin, while the epilogue manga (which seems to be non canon) uses the spelling chojin. With that in mind, shouldn't we move the page to either Chōjin Sentai Jetman or Chojin Sentai Jetman ? Masorick (talk) 18:07, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cast: Ryu Tendoh[edit]

In section Ryu Tendoh:

  • However, Maria's death at the hands of his nemesis Radiguet exceeds into the final battle, causing him to face Radiguet alone before Kaori consoles Ryu and advises him not to take revenge.
"Exceeds" makes no sense here (typo?). What is this supposed to mean? Maybe "develops", but I don't know. Needs fixing.
  • During the final battle, Ryu has his superior and the other Jetmen use Jet Icarus to destroy Raguem and Jet Garuda, injuring him as a result.
Who or what is Raguem? A typo for "Radiguet"? If so, it should be fixed. If not, it needs at least a minimal explanation.

--Thnidu (talk) 14:54, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Raguem is the second form of Radiguet, acutally --151.55.147.181 (talk) 17:05, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

I would feel more comfortable about including the reception section, if we could find some credible citations. Japanese, English, or otherwise. rick lay95 (talk)

Split suggestion[edit]

In an effort to address the intricate detail tag, should we split off the Characters section into it's own article?--Loyalmoonie (talk) 16:29, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
